As a recipient of the University Writing Fellowship, she taught composition at Columbia while completing her degree and is now a Consultant at the Writing Center. She will be teaching the Fiction Workshop on Saturday, June 1 and Sci-Fi & Fantasy for ALL AGES on Sunday, June 2.

Keeping writing from getting stale During our creative writing courses and classes we alternate between writing, visual exercises and oral exercises because they stimulate different parts of the mind and body.
We believe that getting out of your writer’s head for a few moments and into a bit of art and oral storytelling keeps the writing from getting stale.
